Finncare is a not-for-profit organisation which receives funding from the Australian Federal Government.

Care fees are in accordance with regulations determined by the Australian Government which subsidises services for eligible aged care residents and home care clients.

Residential Aged care

All new entrants into residential aged care can be asked to pay a Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD). The RAD can be paid as a lump sum amount or as an equivalent Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP). It can also be paid as a combination of part lump sum and part daily accommodation payment. The following table shows typical fees at September 2016 interest rates:

M.P.I.R.           Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (6.01% in September 2016).

Home Care

Service fees are assessed on a client-by-client basis, and discussed in an initial assessment to the service. If you need more services or you are not eligible for funded services we can also provide private services for affordable prices.

How do I apply?

The first step is to call one of our coordinators on 07 3829 4845. If you are already registered for HACC or CHSP support, we can simply include you in our services. If you are not receiving any support, we can help you contact My Aged Care and organise your assessment. You can also contact them directly on 1800 200 422, or be referred by your GP or family.
